Two basketball programs offered
Wake
Electric is seeking applicants for scholarships to two basketball camps where
they will learn skills under two of the country’s best coaches.
Female
students in grades six through eight can apply for a scholarship to the Kay Yow
camp.
Male
students in grades six through eight can apply for a scholarship to the Roy
Williams basketball camp.
The
Kay Yow camp will be held June 22 through 26 at North Carolina State University
in Raleigh, and the Roy Williams camp will be held June 21 through 25 at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Wake
Electric will pay all expenses for the camps.
The
deadline for students to apply is March 28. Middle-school students in Wake,
Durham, Johnston, Franklin, Granville, Nash and Vance counties are eligible.
