Starting a business? Start here
If you are in the early stages of starting
your own business, you will be interested in a five-day workshop next week
offered by the W.E.B. DuBois Community Development Corporation.
It will be held in Raleigh Jan. 14
through 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. each day in suite 124 at 2800 Sumner Blvd., and
the charge is $100.
The workshop, Dreams to Reality, is a
project of the CDC’s Micro-Enterprise and Innovation Centre.
It will help budding business people
evaluate their business ideas in today’s economy, outline and verify the
business model and set out a business plan, assist in calculating start-up and
continuing costs, and demonstrate how to read and understand financial
statements.
For more information, call Todd
Sanders, the project coordinator, at 556-0709, ext. 115, or send him an e-mail
at IncubatorDeveloper@gmail.com.
