Enter now for
WEMC Youth Tour

          Young people who are high school juniors in Wake, Durham, Johnston, Vance, Granville, Nash or Franklin counties and who plan to enter their senior year next fall are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship and a one-week all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., for the 2008 Rural Electric Youth Tour.

          Students who attend the Youth Tour will join 1,500 high school students from across the nation to learn about electric cooperatives, American history and the U.S. government. Students will also visit the historic sights of the nation’s capital.
