Colored pencil exhibit Feb. 9

Linda Burrell, owner of The Sunflower Fine Art Gallery and Studio on East Jones Avenue, said the featured exhibit for the Feb. 9 Art After Hours will be Explorations in Colored Pencil featuring the work of members of the Triangle Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America. “It should be a great show!”

Meanwhile, Lori O’Brien’s exhibit of grass roots photography, Through My Eyes, will be at the gallery through Feb. 4. It opened during January’s Art After Hours.

An artist and photographer, Leah Charbonneau, is featured at The Cotton Company during January. A Raleigh native, she lives in Knightdale.

The reception and wine-tasting on Jan. 12 planned to honor the opening of her show was interrupted by a smoky fire in the Over the Falls deli next door and had to be rescheduled for last Friday, Jan. 19.
