For the first time in years, there are
no rezoning or special use permit
requests to hear, no master plans to
review. There is nothing to put on an
agenda for the Wake Forest Planning
Board’s Sept. 4 agenda.
But wait! Planning Director
Chip Russell suggested the 10 planning
board members could meet with the town
commissioners and mayor to discuss the
draft landscape plan formulated by the
Urban Forestry Board.
The town board will hold its
regular work session at 5:30 p.m. next
Tuesday to hear a presentation by Drew
Brown from the town’s finance department
about customer service policies. There
may also be a presentation by the Wake
County United Arts Council about public
art, but that has not been confirmed.
After the presentations, the
commissioners and mayor will take a
dinner break and then return for the
landscape plan review “about seven-ish,”
Russell said.
Both meetings are in town
hall and open to the public. |
