After
a week’s break because HerbFest took
over the South White Street parking lot,
the Wake Forest Farmers’ Market will be
in full swing from 8 a.m. to noon.
The number of customers
coming to the market has been high, and
the organizers are in hopes it continues
and grows.
They are planning a number
of special events to attract people,
beginning with the grand opening on May
12.
You will find the following
vendors and their products at the Wake
Forest Farmers’ Market Saturday.

Mapleville Fruit and Berry Farm:
jellies, jams and stained-glass art.

vegetables, eggs, chickens and
pheasants.

pasture-raised poultry, eggs and

pastries from organic locally milled
flours and grains.

plants and trees, vegetables and
