 Gowns, black tie and masks
make a Wake Forest Mardi Gras

A mask? Why not at a Mardi Gras ball.

Black tie and gowns? It will be a formal event, and there is no point in hiding your tuxedo, cocktail gowns and formal dresses in the closet. And the evening’s colors are black and white.

Fun? Well, yes indeed. That is the point.

Dancing, fine food, music and merriment are on the only things on the agenda Saturday night, Feb. 25, for the Renaissance Ball, called a Mardi Gras Masquerade.

The Downtown Revitalization Corporation and the Wake Forest Junior Women’s Club are collaborating on the event which will be held from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Event Gallery at The Cotton Company.

The tickets, $55 per person, are on sale now at The Cotton Company, jovi’s Kitchen & Market and Skipper’s Spirits & Good Eats.
