It will be “Hats Off to Bettie” night on
Oct. 28 when a number of Bettie
Murchison’s supporters are planning a
silent auction and dinner at the Mill
Room at The Factory and inviting
everyone in the area.
“This is an opportunity for
Bettie’s friends and supporters to help
her replenish her own ‘treasure,’” the
invitation says. “Donations at any level
are most appreciated.” Top hat sponsors
at $1,500 will have tickets for a table
of eight people, hosts will pay $200 for
two tickets, supporters will spend $50
for a single dinner and backers will pay
$15 for the silent auction only.
There will be dinner, live
entertainment, a salute to Bettie and a
silent auction.
