Elizabeth Sontag of Wake Forest learned
Monday she was chosen to participate in
the Nationals’ 2006 Miss Junior Teen
Raleigh pageant on Oct. 21.
She will be competing for a
share of over $20,000 in prizes and
gifts as she models casual and formal
wear and displays her personality during
an interview with the judging panel.
Personality is the number one aspect
each contestant is judged on.
The winner will represent
Raleigh and Wake County in the national
competition in Orlando, Fla., where over
$60,000 in prizes and awards will be
presented.
Community businesses,
organizations and individuals will help
Sontag by their sponsorships, making
sure she has the training, rehearsals
and financial support for this year’s
Raleigh pageant.
