Wake Forest issued a total of 67 permits
for dwelling units – 48 single-family
homes, two duplexes, 10 town houses and
seven condominiums – during September.
That brings the total of
permits for home construction to 671
during 2006.
The number town officials is
watching, however, is the number of
homes connected to the Raleigh-owned
water system, and that is 584 because 87
of the new homes, those in the Richland
Hills subdivision, are connected to the
Franklin County water system. The town’s
goal is 800 homes or less on the town’s
water system for the year.
The September permits
follow. SFD stands for single-family
dwelling. The list gives the permit
owner, the type of construction, the
address, the subdivision, the watershed
and the estimated cost, if given.
