To celebrate Public Power Week Oct. 1
through 7, the Town of Wake Forest will
give some of it away.
Three lucky Wake Forest
residents will get free power for the
month of October.
If you want a chance at free
power from the town for a month, go to
this web site,
http://www.wakeforestnc.gov/publicpowerweek_
wordsearch.aspx and read “Wake
Forest – A Proud Public Power
Community.”
Several words related to
public power in the article are
highlighted. Contestants should print
out the article and the word-search
puzzle above it, then find and circle
the highlighted words. After completing
the registration form, contestants can
fax the form and the completed puzzle to
556-2063 or mail it to: Town of Wake
Forest, Public Power Week Contest, 401
Elm Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
The deadline to enter is
Friday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. Only current
Wake Forest residential electric
customers are eligible to participate,
and only one submission per customer
will be accepted. Town employees are not
eligible.
On Monday, Oct. 9, Town
Manager Mark Williams will draw the
names of the three winners, and they
will be notified no later than Monday,
Oct. 16. |
