BAH in Wakefield Thursday

           This month’s Business After Hours will be hosted by Carolina Pediatric Dentistry at 2800 Wakefield Pines Drive, Suite 110. The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and all chamber members are invited. Bring a business card for the raffle.

            The next Lunch & Learn will be Tuesday, Sept. 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at LaForesta Italian Café & Pizzeria on Brooks Street. Ivan Hankins with the Small Business Administration will talk about financing a new or expanding business. The cost is $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers.             The planned ribbon cuttings are Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 4:30 p.m. at Stucchi’s, an ice cream shop at 929 Heritage Lake Road where you can get a free scoop of ice cream between 4:30 and 8 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 28, at noon at Pump It Up at 230-107 CapCom Ave.

            The registration deadline for the Community Business Expo 2006 is Friday, Sept. 29, and the expo will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Factory. For a registration form, go to http://www.wakeforestchamber.org/
