Wake
Forest Police have charged Quinton Byron
Teasley, 33, with breaking into 21
vehicles in the northeast section of
town and stealing articles from all but
three.
After his arrest, Teasley
reportedly confessed to all the
break-ins, all of them near his North
Allen Road home. Lt. Trent Coleman said
Teasley admitted targeting unlocked
vehicles.
Some of the property stolen
has been recovered and returned to its
owners, but Coleman said most of the
property has already been sold.
Teasley was taken to the
Wake County Public Safety Center and
placed under $50,000 secured bond. His
first court appearance was Monday.
Although there has been an
arrest for the 21 break-ins, Wake Forest
Police continue to urge people to lock
their vehicles when they park them for
shopping, for work or for other reasons
and certainly lock them – and remove
valuables – when they park them
overnight. |
