A number of downtown businesses will
honor area teachers Monday with special
sales and giveaways during the first
Historic Wake Forest Teacher
Appreciation Day.
The first day of school for
Wake County schools on the traditional
calendar is Friday, Aug. 25.
At The Cotton Company,
school faculty and staff can enjoy
complimentary mimosas from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m., have an opportunity to win a door
prize all day and enjoy a 10 percent
discount on any one item. Teachers and
staff should carry their school IDs.
At the Well Coffee Shop, all
drinks will be reduced by 10 percent for
teachers. Skipper’s Restaurant is
offering a special of buy one lunch, get
the second lunch at half price. Over the
Falls Deli will reduce the price of
lunch by 20 percent for all teachers.
Alphabet Soup and Wake
Forest Yoga will have special give-aways. |
