 Some WF voters
to have new precinct

Wake Forest is one of five towns in the county with enough voters to justify an additional precinct that will be open for the Nov. 7 general election.

Precinct 19-07 will be in the J.B. Flaherty Community Center at 1226 N. White St.

Voters who are being reassigned to that precinct will be notified by mail this summer before the election. Voters must cast their ballots at their assigned precinct.

County residents who receive new cards from the Wake County Board of Elections addressed to previous owners or tenants are asked not to open the envelopes but instead write on it that the person no longer lives at that address and give the letter back to the postman.

For other information about voting and precincts, call the elections board at 856-6240 or go to http://www.wakegov.com/elections.
