The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation
and Greenway Advisory Board will hold a
special meeting Thursday, June 29, at
5:30 p.m. in the city council chambers –
the second floor of the Raleigh
Municipal Building at 222 W. Hargett St.
– to hear public input about the
Horseshoe Farm master plan.
The people who have labored
over the plan that would preserve a
large part of the natural beauty of the
park in a horseshoe bend of the Neuse
River are urging people to speak at the
meeting or at least attend.
Those listening will be
Mayor Charles Meeker and Councilwoman
Jessie Taliaferro.
