Planners OK birthplace plan
with tree-saving provision |

Tuesday night the
Wake Forest Planning Board approved a master
plan for the museum annex and bathroom building
at the Wake Forest College Birthplace (the
Calvin Jones House) on North Main Street with a
provision to preserve the existing trees at the
rear of the 4.5 acres that serve as a sound
buffer for the CSX railroad.
