 Rex Medical Center, ads,
water conservation on agenda

Steve Burris, the vice president of Rex Hospital, will lead off the town board’s work session Tuesday afternoon, June 6, to describe the hospital’s plans for the Rex Northern Wake Medical Center in the northwestern corner of New Falls of Neuse Road and Capital Boulevard.

Following Burris, the Farrelly Group will tell the mayor and commissioners about television commercials featuring the town and its residents. Commissioner Stephen Barrington had asked for this to be on the agenda.

The final presentation will be by town staff members, probably led by Deputy Town Manager Roe O’Donnell, with their recommendations for water conservation measures.

The commissioners will review the draft agenda for their regular meeting on June 20.

The work session begins at 5:30 p.m. It is televised on Channel 10 and open to the public.
