Falls inching down, inflow

An alumnus of DuBois High School has sued the national alumni association in Wake County’s small claims court, asking his money for a memorial be returned now that the association will no longer pursue plans for the National Rosenwald School Museum.

Steve Burris, the vice president of Rex Hospital, will lead off the town board’s work session Tuesday afternoon, June 6, to describe the hospital’s plans for the Rex Northern Wake Medical Center in the northwestern corner of New Falls of Neuse Road and Capital Boulevard.

for Fourth celebration

Monday and Tuesday, July 3 and 4, will be busy and joyous days in Wake Forest.
Monday night the all-volunteer Fourth of July Committee will throw open the gates at Trentini Stadium at 6 p.m. for the entertainment and fireworks show.
