A full make-over at the Alston-Massenburg
Center on North Taylor Street undertaken
by the Wake Forest Parks and Recreation
Department has been completed.
During the past two months, interior
walls and doors have been painted, a new
tile floor has been installed and the
kitchen has been completed renovated
with a new countertop, a new sink,
stove, microwave and refrigerator.
The crews also replaced much of the
center’s roof, installed new flashing
and downspouts, pressure washed the
building’s exterior and resealed the
concrete blocks.
The total cost was about $24,000. |
