Everyone interested in completing the
widening of U.S. 401 to Louisburg – and
that should include a host of commuters
– is invited to a citizens’ forum
Thursday, Jan. 19.
On hand to discuss how soon
the road will be changed to four lanes
will be state Rep. Lucy Allen of
Louisburg, the moderator; Nina Szlosberg,
a member of the state Board of
Transportation; and Jonathan Nance, the
division engineer for District 5 of the
state Department of Transportation.
There may be other guests.
The meeting, which will last
from 7 to 9 p.m., will be held at the
N.C. Cooperative Extension Service
Agriculture Services Center at 103 S.
Bickett Blvd. in Louisburg.
