Last Friday’s fish fry at the
Wake Forest Fire Department raised about
$12,000, Fire Chief David Williams Jr. said this
week. The event was well attended, and the
firemen sold about 300 more plates than last
year.

WF water plant to pump
more water, train operators |

The Wake Forest water treatment
plans is now pumping 700,000 to 800,000 gallons
a day for town customers, and it will soon be
operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
pumping out 1.8 to 1.9 million gallons a day.
