This

sponsored by Heritage Golf Club and the
chamber on Thursday, April 20, from 5:30
to 7 p.m. at the club on Heritage Club
Avenue.

The staff and volunteers at
the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce are
busily planning for the spring’s largest
event, the arts and crafts show Meet in
the Street on May 6, which typically
brings as many as 10,000 people to the
historic downtown.
More volunteers are needed
to make the event a success.
WakeMed is the joint sponsor
for this year’s event.

The chamber will host a
lunch honoring small businesses on
Tuesday, April 25, at The Factory at
noon. Each small business may send two
representatives to the free event, but
you are asked to respond by April 20 by
calling 556-1519 or e-mailing to
Darren@wakeforestchamber.org.
Small businesses can also
apply to be one of five sponsors. For
$200, you can have a display at the
luncheon, give a one-minute
presentation, have two reserved seats
and receive recognition in the
newsletter. Talk to Darren O’Conner
about this opportunity. |
