Wake
Forest area residents are invited to
enjoy an evening of gospel music and
dinner at The Forks Cafeteria on Sunday,
April 23, while they raise money for
Operation Harvest.
It is called The Harvest: A
Dinner Concert Series, and it has proved
to be a popular way to raise money for
the program which provides food and
other assistance to needy individuals
and families. Operation Harvest operates
from the former Holding cotton warehouse
on South White Street.
Organizer Donna Marshall
said the evening will begin with songs
by Melissa Scott, a local musician, at 5
p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.,
and the Carolina Grace Quartet will
perform after dinner.
The cost of the dinner is
$15 per person and can be paid at the
door. |
