Raymond H. Huber Sr.
Raymond H. Huber Sr., 76, of Middlesex died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Wake Medical Center.
Mr. Huber was born in Durham, Penn., the son of the late Erma Reichard Huber and Elmer P. Huber Sr., and was employed as a loader operator with Ready Mixed Concrete.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Emma Huber; daughter, Jackie L. Huber and partner, Joseph C. Bianco, of Phillipsburg, N.J.; sons, Raymond H. Huber Jr. and wife, Robin, of Franklinton, Glenn H. Huber of Henderson and Tracy H. Huber and wife, Cindy, of Creedmoor; sister, Viola Meixsell of Phillipsburg, N.J.; grandchildren, Brandi, Lisa, Jesica, Nicole, Ryan and Austin; great-grandchildren, Michael, Seth, Joshua, Brennen and Acacia; and special pet, Rico. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Huber Heft and Harriet Huber, and by his brothers, Harry Huber, Ernie Huber and Elmer Huber.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that cards of condolence be sent to the residence, 12344 Maltese Road, Middlesex, NC 27557.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening June 23, 2010, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St. Wake Forest, NC.

Deborah Wall Johnson
Deborah Gaye Wall Johnson, 59, of Rolesville, died on June 19, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Deborah was born on July 6, 1950, the daughter of the late Thelbert Henderson Wall and Ithel Tart Wall. She was a faithful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, June 23, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.
urvivors include her husband of 40 years, Ricky Vann Johnson; children, Trevah Johnson Wall and husband, Anthony, of Wake Forest, Ricky Vann Johnson II of Rolesville and Brandon Henderson Johnson of Raleigh; grandchildren, Dalton Fletcher, Hailey Fletcher, Jessica Johnson and Lil’ Tony Wall; special friends, Rhonda and Randy Clayton of Frisco, Texas; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Johnson Fletcher; son-in-law, Kerry Wayne Fletcher; and by a sister, Betty Jean Barham.

G. Wallace Keith
Gene Wallace Keith, 69, of 14925 Creedmoor Road, Wake Forest, died on June 18, 2010, at his home.
A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Otho Keith and Macy Holloway Keith of Raleigh.He was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church and was a carpenter.
Memorial services were held at 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, June 22, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jack Hollowell officiating.
Mr. Keith is survived by his wife, Ruby Jones Keith; daughter, Sherry Lee Howard and husband, Sonny Lee Howard, of Wake Forest; grandson, Wallace Lee Howard of Wake Forest; sister, Daphine K. Cash and husband, Otho Cash, of Creedmoor; and brother, Jack D. Keith and wife, Vera Keith, of Raleigh.

Mary Lillian Wrenn
Mary Lillian Holden Wrenn, 87, of 1681 Cedar Creek Road, Youngsville, died Friday, June 18, 2010.
he was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Maidie Allen Holden and Stephen Franklin Holden, and was a member of Oak Level Christian Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock Monday morning, June 21, 2010, at Oak Level Church with the Rev. David Haley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wrenn is survived by her husband of 66 years, Claude L. “Blackie” Wrenn Jr.; daughter, Mary Iva Nunnery and husband, Larry, of Fayetteville; sons, C. L. Wrenn III of Franklinton and Ronnie Wrenn and Merri Lynne Morgan of Wendell; grandchildren, Amy Bailey Capps, Maria Bailey Williams, Nicholous Bailey, Allison Nunnery, William Nunnery, Nicole Hanson, Brandon Hanson and Jacob Hanson; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Charlotte W. Bailey and Connie W. Hanson, and by her brother, Benjamin Franklin Holden.

David Thomas Merritt
David Thomas Merritt, 71, of Sykes Road, Spring Hope, died Tuesday June 15, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Durham.
He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Mary Bett Brown Merritt and Jones Marshall Merritt. Mr. Merritt was retired from the printing department with the N.C. Department of Corrections and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock, Friday morning, June 18, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Bartholomew officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Memorial Park in Louisburg.
Mr. Merritt is survived by his wife, Betty Murray Merritt; daughters, Melanie Jones and Michelle Logan and her husband, Reed, of Garner; son, Ken Bartholomew and wife, Charlotte of Newport; sister, Charlie Ann Merritt and friend, Jerry Williams, of Raleigh; and grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Grindstaff, both of Garner, and Katie and Camille Bartholomew both of Newport.

Warren Ray Ward
Warren Ray Ward, 70, of 706 Main Street, Bunn, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Duke University Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 23, 1939, in Riverton, Iowa, the son of the late Floyd Ward and Thelma Jones Ward. Warren honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service he joined IBM and retired after a distinguished 25-year career.
He is survived by his son, Kendall Ward and wife, Lisa, of Wake Forest; daughter, Kim Burson and husband, Jim, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Mitchell Ward, Jack Ward, Adam Ward, Mary Ward, Kevin Burson and Frannie Burson; former wife, Janice Ward of Wake Forest; brother, Wesley Ward and wife, Ruthie, of Riverton, Iowa; and niece, Cindy Jennings, and nephew, Dennis Ward, and their families.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Neal Ready, Jennifer Tenhover and the entire staff at Duke University Medical Center for the exceptional care and support provided to Warren during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Warren to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 7721 Six Forks Road, Suite 136, Raleigh, NC 27615.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8:30 Thursday evening, June 24, 2010, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
