Ada Lassiter Harvell, 95, of Wake Forest, died Friday morning June 11, 2010, at Hillside Nursing Center.
he was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Lougenia Whitley Lassiter and Charlie Lassiter, and was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Harvell.
A graveside funeral service was held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon June 14, 2010, at the Falls Community Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Terry Ashe officiating.
Mrs. Harvell is survived by her daughter, Carol Looper of Wake Forest; sister, Sue Lassiter Horne of Raleigh; grandsons, Jerry Looper and wife, Wanda, and their son, Matthew, of Wake Forest and Jeff Looper and wife, Sandy, and their daughter, Leah,of Raleigh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chimes Fund, Falls Baptist Church, 9700 Fonville Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Howard Lee Savage
Howard Lee Savage, 57, of Wake Forest, went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2010. He was born on January 1, 1953, in Arlington County, Virginia.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 Wednesday morning, June 16, 2010, at North Raleigh Chapel Church. Burial was in the Wake Forest Cemetery.
Mr. Savage is survived by his wife of 34 years, Leneve Hodges Savage, daughter, Janel Savage Buckingham and husband, Joshua, of Wake Forest; mother, Ella Walker Franklin of Maryland; siblings, William Savage, Mary Savage Texicra, Laura Jean Savage Evans and Eddie Savage, all of Maryland, Kenny Savage of Pennsylvania, James Franklin of Florida, Sandy Franklin Chambliss of Maryland and Ricky Franklin of Washington, D.C.; and grandchildren, Luke Alexander, Amelia Grace, Addison Lee, and Ella Rose. Mr. Savage was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Savage, and by a brother, David Savage.
