Audrey Davidson Shaw
Audrey Davidson Shaw, 79, of Raleigh, passed away on May 14, 2010, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Shaw was born on October 24, 1930, to the late Annie Gray Davidson and Wiley B. Davidson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon; May 18, 2010, at Bay Leaf Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marty Jacumin officiating. Burial was in the West Bend United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro.
urvivors include her husband of 58 years, Herman C. Shaw; son, Christopher A. Shaw and wife, Dawn, of Raleigh; sister, Juanita Porche of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Tyler and Kyndall Shaw of Raleigh.

Robert Edward ‘Bo’ Perry
Robert Edward “Bo” Perry, 81, of Franklinton, died Friday afternoon May 14, 2010, at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Franklinton, the son of the late Allie Duke Vaughan Perry and Robert Emmett Perry.
Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, May 16, 2010, at Franklinton Baptist Church with the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Perry is survived by his twin nieces, Meryl and Cheryl Hollar of Franklinton; a half-sister, Patricia Bailey of Angier; half-brothers, Curtis Perry of Fuquay and Rod Perry of Atlanta, Ga.; and his girlfriend, Shirley Gardner of Franklinton. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Perry Hollar.

Pallbearers were Ronald Champion, Bill Day, Bill Hagwood, Bill Kimbrough, J. R. Mendenhall and Vance Mendenhall.

William Earl Rogers
William Earl Rogers, 56, of 4745 Zebulon Road, Zebulon, died on May 12, 2010. Mr. Rogers was born in Wake County on February 24, 1954, to Gracie Watkins Rogers and the late James William Rogers.
Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, May 15, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Wallace and the Rev. Dr. Mike Jones. Burial was in the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.
urvivors include his mother, Gracie M. Rogers of Wake Forest; son, James Atlas “J.A.” Rogers and wife, Crystal, of Spring Hope; and grandchild, Annika Belle Rogers of Spring Hope. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Blue Rogers.
Pallbearers were Allen Weathington, Tilley King, Glenn Morgan, Kenny Wilson, Kenny Watkins and Mike Watkins.

John Anthony Weiss
John Anthony Weiss, 82, of Raleigh, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at his residence.
John was born in Essex County, N.J., to the late Susan Gunther Weiss and Frank J. Weiss. He graduated from Kean College, where he received his master’s degree in education administration. He was an educator for over twenty-five years and a veteran of the United States Navy. John enjoyed singing in local church choirs, was an avid golfer, tennis player and was a loving father and grandfather.
urvivors include his sons, Todd Weiss and wife, Tracy of Barnegat, N.J., and Greg Weiss and wife, Susan, of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Tristan and Brooklyn Weiss; and other loving relatives.
A private memorial service to honor his life will be held.

Erlene K. Pendergrass
Erlene Knight Pendergrass, 81, of Wake Forest, died Monday, May 18, 2010, at her home.
he was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Sophie Poole Medlin Knight and Jason Henry Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jordan Pendergrass; her son, George Thomas Pendergrass and his wife, Carol, and by her brother, Johnny Knight.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon May 20, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pendergrass is survived by her son, Donald Ray Pendergrass and wife, Carla, of Youngsville; sisters, Annie Ruth Scarborough of Garner and Alice Faye Godfrey of Franklinton; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two nieces and one nephew.
