Frances Privette Frazier Davis

Frances Privette Frazier Davis, 90, of Rolesville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2010.
he was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Ellis and Eva Jones Privette, and was owner and operator of Wake Forest Florist from April, 1964, thru her semi-retirement from 1975 to 1990.
Funeral services were held at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 29, 2010, at Rolesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges and the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery officiating. Burial was in Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Frazier of Wake Forest; grandsons, Brian Frazier and wife, Afton, of Youngsville, Brandon Frazier and wife, Lauren, of Wake Forest; sisters, Edith Edwards of Zebulon, Mozelle Moulton and husband, Roger, of Wake Forest; and great-grandchildren, Kendall, Chloe, Dylan, Bryceson and Layla. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Joseph Frazier and Sam Davis; by her son, William Howard Frazier; and by her brothers, James Privette and June Privette.
The family would like to thank the workers at Hillside for the care they gave to Mrs. Davis.

Pallbearers were Al Privette, Rodney Privette, Lin White, Grady Poole, Donnie Edwards and Kris Mobley.

Sean Barrett Watts

Sean Barrett Watts, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Youngsville, died unexpectedly, Sunday, January 24, 2010.
He was born in Wake County; was a graduate of N.C. State University and was employed as a system analyst with John Deere Corporation in Moline, Illinois.
A memorial service honoring Sean’s life was held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon January 31, 2010, at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville.
ean is survived by his parents, Don and Fran Watts of Youngsville; a brother, Drew Watts; and grandparents, Evelyn Bracknell of Franklinton, Muriel D. and Alice C. Watts of Asheville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Bracknell.
Memorial contributions be made to the Sean Watts Scholarship Fund at Bunn High School in Bunn.

Bobby Wess Jones Jr.
Bobby W. Jones Jr. of 5205 Riley Hill Road, Wendell, died Sunday morning January 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Wake County, the son of Lillie Belle Williams Jones and Bobby W. Jones Sr.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2010, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Linda Jones; children, Chris and wife, Sandy, of Wendell, Angel and Aaron, both of the home, and Dale of Pilot; mother, Lillie Belle Jones of Rolesville; mother-in-law, Doris Nalesnik of Florida; brothers, Mike Jones and wife, Terry, of Zebulon, Greg Jones and wife, Judy, of Wendell; and grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon and Christian. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Jones Sr., and by his grandparents; Lee and Willie Jones and Elwood and Lennie Williams.

Helen E. Meyer
                Helen E. Meyer, 86, of Youngsville died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Universal Health Care. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Rayner Soltow, and was a former church organist.
                A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, February 5, 2010, at Wake Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Warren officiating.
                Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband of 63 years, Herbert Meyer; children, Kathleen Romeo and husband, Richard, Paul Meyer and wife, Roxanne, Jeffrey Meyer and wife, Teresa, and Jim Meyer and wife, Lisa; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Iva Mae Barham
                Iva Mae Tart Barham, 84, of Wake Forest died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at her home. She was born in Johnston County, the daughter of the late Etta and Henry Tart, and was a seamstress at Rolesville Garment Company for many years.
                Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, February 4, 2010, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
                Mrs. Barham is survived by her sons, Daylon Wheeler and wife, Betty, and Thomas Wheeler, all of Wake Forest; daughters, Wanda Barham of Youngsville and Sharon Davis and husband, Danny, of Louisburg; beloved pet, Trixie; sister, Lillie Pearl Spence of Clayton; brothers, Melvin Tart and Bradley Tart of Clayton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. “Red” Barham, and by her daughter, Carolyn Hawks.
