Carson Cutshaw
Carson Cutshaw, 77, of 1720 Forestville Road, Wake Forest, died Friday evening, December 18, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Greenville, Tennessee, the son of the late Mae Collins Cutshaw and Will Cutshaw. Mr. Cutshaw was a master carpenter and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, December 21, 2009, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.
Mr. Cutshaw is survived by his children, Thresa Diane Reynolds and husband, Allen, of Wake Forest, Rickey Cutshaw and wife, Candice,of Franklinton, Sandra Cutshaw Haithcock and husband, Champ, of Wake Forest and William Cutshaw and wife, Tracy, of Franklinton; brothers, Stanley Cutshaw and Paul Cutshaw; former wife, Joyce Grice Cutshaw; and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Oden Shelton, and a brother, Bruce Cutshaw.

Lela F. Carter
Lela Forsyth Carter, 86, of Rolesville, died Friday, December 18, 2009, at the Carolina House.
he was born in Wake County, one of 14 children of the late Samuel and Calie Forsyth. Mrs. Carter was a member of Rolesville Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.
A memorial celebration was held at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, December 20, 2009, at Rolesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her children, Jarvis G. McDonald and wife, Faye, of Louisburg, Carol Hayes and husband, Johnny, Diane Dill and husband, Stanley, and Donna Scarboro and husband, Spencer, all of Rolesville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
