Want to hone your leadership skills?

Published Jul 7, 2010

If you are interested in becoming a leader in the Wake Forest community or in a larger arena, your first step should be to enroll in the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Wake Forest program.
The participants, about 20, are usually young business people. During the rather intensive program that begins in early September and ends with the Community Christmas Dinner at the beginning of December, participants will develop those leadership skills and learn about the Wake Forest community, its history, its economy, its government, state and county government, education and much more.
The group meets from 5:30 to 8:30 one or two evenings a week with a few exceptions. Dinner is included.
For more information and for registration forms, go to the chamber website, www.wakeforestchamber.org and click on “leadership.”
