Celebrate the end of Phase 1.
There will be a celebration and short ceremony to reopen South White Street and mark the completion of phase one of the South White Street Plan.
This will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, May 29, on the sidewalk beside the North Carolina Specialty Shops. It is sponsored by the Downtown Revitalization Corporation and the Town of Wake Forest.
In view of the unsettled weather recently, the organizers are prepared for rain or other inclement weather.
