The Wake Forest Kiwanis Club, which supports a variety of activities and benefits for children and youth in the area, will hold a fund-raising pancake breakfast event at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar on Saturday, March 13.
            The $7 tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling Jason McCoy at 412-2484. The event will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
            The money raised will help the club with its activities, which include local scholarships, the Wake Forest Boys and Girls Club, providing dictionaries for third-graders in area schools and the Key Club and Builders Club in area schools.
