Grown and Share Music Festival Sept. 5

Published Sep 1, 2010

The 2010 fundraising event for Grow And Share will be held Sunday, Sept. 5, in Rolesville’s Main Street Park from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a number of activities including a silent auction and local bands.
The money raised will help the nonprofit grassroots organization fight hunger by giving away free garden plants to people who then grow the food and share it with their neighbors and others in need.
The bands include Mister Felix, Sunmile, d-sass, and Jo Gore and the Alternative.
Empire Eats, Music and Dance Productions, Ebony Child Art, the Carolina Mudcats and others are donating items for the silent auction.
Sponsors are Play-By-Play Sports Properties LLC (MudcatsRadio.com), Cary International Minute Press, Gray Squirrel Farm, East River Road Auto Sales, Carolina Worm Castings and Rolesville’s Cart Company.
Volunteers from Zebulon-area schools, local youth groups and others will be at the event.
