VFW Post 8466 stationed in Wake Forest will hold the fourth annual Flag Day and 234th Army Birthday supper, featuring spaghetti and meatballs, at The Border Restaurant Friday, June 12, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The highlight of the supper will be a cake-cutting ceremony and the singing of the Army song at about 5 p.m.
The cost is $5 per plate, either eat in or take out, and families will be charged no more than $20.
The money raised from the supper will go to benefit service members serving overseas and the two veterans’ homes in North Carolina.
The Border Restaurant is at 712 N. Main St.
