On Nov. 8 Wake Forest voters will elect three town commissioners. Two current commissioners, Anne Hines and Peter Thibodeau, are seeking their second terms, and they will be joined on the nonpartisan ballot by six people who are listed below.
If you want to be one of the voters whose vote counts in the election you must be registered to vote in Wake County. If you believe you are registered, you can check your registration at www.wakegov.com/elections. If you are new to town or have never voted, you can register at the Board of Elections office in Raleigh, at any Wake County public library, at the Northern Wake Regional Center on East Holding Avenue or at a N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles driver’s license office.
You have to register to vote 25 days before an election; Oct. 13 is the last day to register for this fall’s town election.
