The Wake Forest Rotary Club and the Wake Forest-Rolesville Band Boosters have joined to host the second annual Comedy Night on Saturday, Feb. 11, and raise funds for to help purchase new band uniforms.
In addition, The Wake Forest Weekly will donate $10 to the Band Boosters for each new one-year subscription to the paper Cougar band fans buy and will donate $5 for each one-year renewal. The yearly subscription price is $26.50. Call 919-556-3182 to subscribe or renew, and be sure to designate that the subscription is to benefit the WF-R High School Band.
WRAL’s consummate weatherman Greg Fishel will be the master of ceremonies for the event which will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at Tuxedo Junction. The professional comedians Andy Forrester and Jim Bonawitz will entertain, there will be live music by the WF-R High school Band ensemble, heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by The Forks Cafeteria, Over the Falls Deli, The Lemon Tree and La Foresta (truly a Taste of Wake Forest), cocktails and wine, raffles and live and silent auctions.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at The Cotton Company and NC Specialty Shops in downtown Wake Forest.
The Rotary club and the band boosters will split the proceeds from the event equally, and the Rotary club will use its portion to support its many activities locally and across the world.
