Climbing the family tree using the Internet

Published Mar 10, 2010

Do you want to know about your grandparents and where your great-grandparents came from? Do you have some names and dates but dread the thought of slogging through records in a courthouse?
Fear no more, because Tuesday genealogy experts Connie Nourse and Jennifer Bell from the General James Moore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will show you how to use the Internet and all its sites to find that lost aunt or discover who a long-lost cousin married.
The free meeting hosted by the Friends of the Wake Forest Library will begin at 7 p.m. March 16 in the Northern Wake Regional Center on East Holding Avenue next to the library.
