If so, Leadership Wake Forest is the place for you.
It is a program designed to identify, cultivate and motivate leadership resources for Wake Forest. In weekly sessions from September through November, the participants learn about the history, economics, town government, civic clubs and other aspects of life here through panel discussions, on-site tours, hands-on activities and team discussions.
You can get an application now by calling or e-mailing Jade Biggio – 556-1519, jade@wakeforestchamber.org – at the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce office on South White Street.
Get your space for EXPO 2009
The Wake Forest Chamber’s annual community business exposition, EXPO 2009 this year, is just one of those events that draws a variety of people from babies in strollers and arms to older folks holding on to the arms of their grandchildren.
Right now, Jade Biggio with the chamber, says the demand for booths and tables is high and many are already taken.
The EXPO will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27, at The Factory on South Main Street
(U.S. 1-A). If you want a booth or table, call or e-mail Biggio (see information above.)
