The Wake Forest Farmers’ Market will offer seasonal vegetables, meats, crafts, and baked goods from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 10, in the depot parking lot on South White Street.

The Autumn Arts Festival will be held in downtown Wake Forest Saturday, Oct. 10. Games, entertainment and the opportunity to see, enjoy and purchase the work of local and area artists.

Everyone in the Wake Forest Fire District is invited to the grand opening for the Wake Forest Fire Department’s Station #3 on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. The station is at 1412 Forestville Road. Fire prevention brochures will be available and the Ladies Auxiliary will prepare and serve the refreshments.
