Wednesday, Sept. 30, there will be a ribbon-cutting at the Fidelity Bank on South White Street in downtown Wake Forest. The event is not to celebrate a new business but a business that is celebrating its centennial, 100 years of doing business. Fidelity Bank is headquartered in Fuquay-Varina and has two Wake Forest locations, the second being on Capital Boulevard.
